چکیده
This study estimated the non-carcinogenic health risk of Pb, Cu, Cd, Zn via dietary intake in urban and rural areas Baia Mare city, northwestern Romania, a former mining area. A total 230 food items grouped ten categories (meat animal organs, meat-derived products, fat, eggs, dairy, bread, corn flour, potato, vegetables, fruits) 32 water samples were collected analyzed for Cd using atomic absorption spectrometric method. The human assessment through exposure was evaluated by calculating daily metals, Target Hazard Quotients (THQ) Total (TTHQ) normal consumption adults. average intakes higher than Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI) reference value residents, which showed that there potentially high ingestion water. Cu with drinking lower corresponding TDI value, indicated not potential hazard to residents areas. individual target quotients, calculated area decreased following order: Cd>Cu>Pb>Zn, area: Pb>Cd>Cu>Zn, having values 1 Pb approximately equal (urban) (rural), indicating adverse effects. TTHQs two (urban rural) 2.934 5.164, respectively, established cumulative effects metals. results potato bread main sources metal from foodstuff adults, but fruit, meat secondary contributors.

Contamination and Health Risks from Heavy Metals (Cd and Pb) and Trace Elements (Cu and Zn) in Dairy Products
Background and Purpose: Dairy products are known as an important food in human diet. This study was carried out to analyze the content of metals (Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn) in butter and cheese, and evaluates the potential health risks of metals to humans through the consumption of dairy products. Materials and Methods: In this analytical observational study, a total of 32 samples of butter and chees...

The present study was performed to measure heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Cd and Cu) in the muscle, liver, gonad, intestine and digestive parasites of Pike (Esox lucius) in Anzali wetland. For this purpose, 90 fish Pike were sampled from Anzali wetland during 2020 and in the reproductive season (winter). During the experiment, total length, fork length, standard length and total weight were measured. Th...
متن کاملSources of Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn in biowaste.
Biowaste, the separately collected organic fraction of municipal solid waste, can be reused for soil conditioning after composting. In this way, environmentally harmful waste management strategies, such as landfilling or incineration, can be reduced. However, frequent application of composts to soil systems may lead to the accumulation of heavy metals in soils, and therefore legal criteria were...

Heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn) absorbed by roots brought about oxidative stress conditions through ROS production (O2̄ ̇, H2O2) for pea plants cultivated hydroponically for 96 h on a Hoagland medium with the addition of 50 μM: CdCl2, Pb(NO3)2, CuSO4, and ZnSO4. We shows, using laser ablation ICP MS, that Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn elements are located along a cross-section through the roots of pea plants...
